Over 30 new and existing local businesses and key organisations attended the Worth Valley's - Whoyano Rural Business Network at Slack Lane Baptist church Oakworth. Welcome to Yorkshire's Liz Tattersley gave a informative interactive presentation which included how they have been marketing the New Jane Eyre film to the USA in March and the launch of the film in the UK in September, a short Film on Yorkshire's T.V ad's and a real insight to the effort and commitment that Welcome to Yorkshire Team have.

Liz mentioned that 'our number one priority is to make Yorkshire the most popular visitor destination in the UK. Leisure tourism currently generates more than £5 billion in visitor expenditure into the county and makes up a significant proportion of Yorkshire's visitor economy. We aim to promote where we can.' Kathryn Thornton Whoyano Founder spoke about the Opportunities in the Worth Valley and how we can create more a vibrant place to visit – work and live!

‘2010 Worth Valley Enterprise Event’ held in the unique location of Oxenhope’s very own Railway Station in the impressive exhibition shed. Even the ‘Pullmans,’ for once was out shone by the local talented and passionate businesses in the valley. The Free event also brought key National organisations such as Enterprise Europe Yorkshire, they provide information you need to help grow your business in Europe! Drumming Workshops with Abe & Paul - Freestyle event held at the Crossroads Pub cosy back venue space. Abe & Paul brought a flavour of their new Drumming Sessions with a collection of over 30 drums for the ‘Whoyano’ers’ to beat the stress of the day away – great way to interact with others you might have not met.
